The violence in Thailand "The Land of Smiles" continues. It all started when the police shot a rouge general from The Red Shirts. The red shirts consist mostly of the poor people who live in the country sides. They claim the present government is corrupt, and run by the rich elite. While the government is most likely corrupt, the red shirts are worse- these are the people who scream oppression and charm the ignorant into believing in change.I witnessed this happen in Cuba. It's always about change no matter if you are too much to the left or too much to the right. It's a revolution that seems to be echoing in various parts of the world, albeit, different causes different leaders. Our world is falling apart. My brother Philip gets annoyed at my dire outlook, but I see a reality.
Obama's transformation of America is but a part of the giant global agendas that are being played out with the purpose of destroying any country's sovereignty. My brother Tommy asks me what will happen if all these countries collapse. I am sure it was a sarcastic question, but I gave him several web sites that explain globalization through environmental crisis. His reply was,"what is wrong with that?" My brother Alfredo wears a Che shirt. A radical whose ideologies destroyed my grandfather's self made empire and legacy.
My sister Virginia gets highly offended and calls me out when I post concern over the loss of our second amendment. I am grateful to my mother for having given me moral, conservative values. I guess the fact that Obama wants to take our guns away is just another of my paranoid rantings. She claims my mother's excuse for her views was that she was a drunk, then asks what my excuse is.
To all of the Thibeauxs and friends and family who feel I am a radical I say this:
I am a radical for truth. I believe in absolutes. Our God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow thus His word is not subject to interpretation. It should be taken literally. The constitution is also not a "living document" that changes with the whims of mankind. It too, should stand alone, not spun into judicial interpretation based on reason. Our founders did not intend for international courts to play a part in our laws, nor believed appointed judges should make laws. I believe that right was set aside for our elected officials. Government was not created to run car companies, banks, mortgage companies or anything else they might see fit to "save" from collapse. Government was created to keep us safe, yet they refuse to secure our borders, and call states racists, when they use their constitutional right (amendment 10) to protect their citizens. Most of our presently appointed officials have a radical agenda, with the sole purpose of destroying our sovereign rights and turn us into a government by the beaurocrates for the elite politicians.
Man has set himself and the creation of God above the creator Himself. Mans think himself wise when in fact he is a fool. God will eventually give these people over to reprobate minds.
( Romans).
I have lived in both worlds. I was a mf hippy and had radical leftist ideals. I was into revolution and free love. One day I woke up. Any action can be reasoned into being the right thing to do and any lie can be perverted into a truth. And that is where we live today, in an up side down world.
I can say with assurance that I am not part of that any more because I do believe in absolutes. You can't twist things around to suit your needs. Our God is constant. All of our founding fathers knew that without God, our constitution would fail. And so here we are. We have a president that apologizes to the world for what we are, and a government that wants to regulate every aspect of our lives. There is no freedom in dependency -Except for one: the dependency on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So you see, I am a ranting fool and a paranoid fanatic. But you are mistaken as to the reason. I know my Savior lives and he will soon return for His church. If it be while I am still alive, I will not be left behind. In the mean time, God has called us to be a light in the darkness. So I will continue to speak my mind. I will continue to express my objections to this transformation of America, because I like it better the other way. People who believe a little socialism is a good thing, are delusional. The only good thing that might come out of a "nanny" state is that people won't be crawling all over themselves to try to cross our borders. We will no longer be that land of opportunity.
I have respected everyone of you and never thrown any of my views on you. It is especially hurtful that Virginia chose to express her feelings towards me on Facebook. A one -on- one would have been more Christ-like. But no worries, I still love you all in spite of my obsessive behavior. God gave us all free will and so I accept your differences and go on with mine. Know this: I harbor no ill will towards any of you, and I wish you all the best. Not best friends, but blood brothers and sisters. So be it.
